15 Questions !

1. What is your hidden talent?
I can hypnotise crabs, no joke. I’m not quiteeee sure how I figured it out, but it is true!
2. What is something you canât live without?
If itâs cold, a hot water bottle, thattttt is essential. But usually a pair of knock off Birkenstocks, and probably my m&s baggy jeans. They are SO comfortable, and make everything look just a teensy bit snazzier đ
3. Best piece of advice youâve been given?
I think there are 3; 1- The price of anything is the amount of life you pay for it. 2 – Comparison is the thief of joy. 3 – How do I break a pattern? Respond differently.
4. Something that is always in your fridge?
Greek yoghurt and hummus. I LOVE them.

5. Biggest regret?
I am lucky that I dont think I have any regrets. If things havenât worked out, or gone to plan, then always a huge lesson has been learnt. I think if you follow your intuition and youre gut, then 9/10 times, whatever happens youâll always be glad you did it, there is no losing ;). But saying that, I think I must be the most cringiest person known to man, so there 1000% have been some things I have said, that I have deliberately erased from my memory.
6. Any books you would recommend?
âUntamedâ by Glennon Doyle is my absolute favourite book ever, but also âThe Power of Nowâ by Eckhart Toll is probably the one that has changed me the most, even though reading it feels almost impossible, once youâre finished you definitely look at things from a new perspective.
7. Your biggest achievement?
Looking back, it is probably the fact that I have somehow hitch-hiked my way on sailing boats over 12500 nautical miles, the equivalent to halfway around the world. Which at the time, felt pretty average, but now I look back it it, was actually quite a lot:/ The first big trip I took was sailing from Panama to the UK across the Atlantic when I was 19, and then after that, it just never really stopped. I am all sailed out for the meantime, but it is definitelyyyyyy something I am going to miss in the future, and will for sureeeeee come back to. Sailing around the pacific islands is something I wish everybody could experience. It is truly even better than the movies and I am unbelievablyyyyyy grateful for those periods of time.
8. What are the plans for the future?
So at the moment, I am in NZ with my sister Soph & our friend, Katie, in Malcolm (the van) touring around for the next few months. After I am popping home for a wee while to host some friends coming over to visit, and then I am taking Isla (the littlest sister) to volunteer on a ranch in the Canadian rockies for 6 weeks, in exchange for free food/accommodation! Afterwards I have decided it is finally time to settle down for a wee while, and head to uni to study midwifery. So that will take up the next 3 years. I am a little nervous, but I think it will nice to use the noggin again, and to have a bit of a routine! Something which feels veryyyyy unfamiliar. But after that, who knows? I would love to volunteer in a few other countries training midwives, or even as a midwife, to the people who really reallyyyyy need the help, but who knows. We shall see! But I am very excited all the same, I am sure it is going to be a lot of fun đ

9. Favourite place you have visited?
My top 3 would be French Polynesia, Switzerland and New Zealand. They are some of the few places that look good in the photos, but when you visit them in real life, they look 10000% better. You just spend the entire time you are there walking around with your mouth wide open.
10. Somewhere you still want to go?
The more I travel, the more you realise how many places you still havent seen. So the list is pretty big :/. But I would say on the top of the list are; South America, Iceland and Norway! And one day, Antartica!
11. What is your biggest insecurity?
I struggled with binge-eating disorder for almost as long as I can remember. It is something that up until the past year, took over my entire life, and all the thoughts too. I still struggle, but after some therapy, and many many many hours of research and trying to understand the bio-chemistry of the brain, I understand it a bit better now, but it is still something that I find very hard to talk about, I think purely because there are just so many misconceptions about ti, and I feel unless you have been through it yourself, it is really hard to understand what they are talking about.
12. What are you most passionate about?
Prioritising sex-ed in schools, and educating boys & girls what is and what isnât sexual assault, and also teaching them about their bodies. It has got to the point where not a single women I know, over the age of 18, has never been sexually assaulted or raped. And it pissesssssssss me off to another level. Especially when most of the time, it has been done by people they already know. Considering it is such a hugeeeee part of everyones life, I feel the education we do get about it, is pretty shocking.

13. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
Definitely an extroverted introvert. I think I come across to everyone as a chatterbox, but really I love love love being on my own, in my own space, maybe a little too much. Quite often halfway through socalising, I have to go to the loo for a mini break, just to have some space, and then I can come back ready to go again đ But it is something I am working on, and I am getting better!
14. Favourite smell?
The smell of laundry detergent. Honestly, if it was a drug, I think I probably would have taken it. But the smell of petrol, and wiers are also pretty up there.
15. Something you live by?
âWhere there is a will, there is a wayâ, something that to this day has never proved me wrong. I often think, if they can do it, then why canât I? Maybe it will just take a little longerâŠ
